Rapidly expanding DBM Social becomes 3arc Social, joining forces with 3arc.

The Illuminera Group today announced that its Australian boutiques DBM Social and 3arc by DBM will join forces. Formed in 2021, the two rapidly expanding boutiques will be known as 3arc and 3arc Social.

Following the sale of its DBM Atlas division to RFI Global, The Illuminera Group brings together its two boutique start-ups in the Australian market, DBM Social and 3arc by DBM.

to be known as 3arc Social, DBM Social was established in 2021 by Kerry Sproston to conduct research and evaluation in the public sector. 3arc Social works with eminent academics to deliver strategic insights to federal and state governments and have already established specialities including problem gambling research, public health, and transport, in addition to program and communications evaluations.

3arc Social’s MD, Kerry Sproston said “I’m excited to join forces with 3arc and continue to expand into new disciplines. Our passion is to help inform policy initiatives that make a difference to vulnerable populations. At 3arc Social we particularly embrace complex and challenging projects, and we are establishing ourselves as the ‘go to’ agency for academic collaborations”.

3arc by DBM was established as a commercial research agency in 2022 by Matthew Bond and will simply be known as 3arc. The name 3arc was inspired by the arc that all great stories follow, and our purpose is to bring to life the narrative and storylines that can be shaped for brands, organisations, our projects, our clients and work. Moving to ‘3arc’ aligns to our focus on the future and the next chapter in our story.
